This was operated by an Airbus A320. There was no inflight entertainment screen.
The airline sent me an SMS shortly before boarding was due to say that it would be delayed. The flight was delayed around an hour due to the lateness of the inbound aircraft. At this time of day with a China flight this is not unexpected alas.
Once going it was a fairly short hop. Arriving at Xiamen airport there were few passengers and immigration clearance was fairly fast.
This was a friendly and professional crew who showed no sign of it being the end of what had perhaps been a long day.
After the seatbelt sign was turned off the crew came through with a food service followed swiftly by a hot drink service. Soon they were collecting the trays.
Food and Drink
This is a short flight and so my expectations for food were not high but what came was still very simple – just a juice, biscuit and a sandwich which while tasty was not much by way of late dinner. I think Cathay Dragon should try a bit harder than this.
Inflight service wise there is little to distinguish Cathay Dragon from Xiamen Air on this route.
