When I stayed at Soravit on Granville, I ate lunch one day at Chili Party, which is one of the restaurants located in the same building. It’s not owned by the hotel FYI, they simply rent the space out to the operator. There is another location located in Island Beverly in Causeway Bay too FYI.

In the past it wasn’t the easiest to find authentic Sichuan food in Hong Kong. Usually you had to go to one or two restaurants that were authentic. These days there is a much larger proliferation and Chili Party in my opinion was pretty fantastic. Now my tolerance for spicy food is a bit limited, so I ordered some mild items, which were all pretty spicy already. If you like your food mouth-numbing, this is the place for you.
The interior of the restaurant is a bit eclectic. Not sure how to describe it, but it’s unique for sure, a feast for the eyes. Lots of cool lights, plants, flowers, decor, etc.
Now I can’t recall everything we ordered, but you should be able to tell from the photos. Noodles, okra, wood ear mushrooms, tripe, chicken, and fish. All of it was super yummy, actually likes the okra a lot which I didn’t expect to. That Sichuan peppercorn numbing taste is definitely there and reminded me when I went to Chongqing and Chengdu, though not as spicy, since I ordered mild.
The fruit tea drink was also pretty cool. Tasted like actual fruit and had fruit in it, not that artificial stuff you find at 7-11.
Next time you’re in TST or Causeway Bay looking for some Sichuanese cuisine, Chili Party would be a safe bet.
