A couple of decades ago, for many people around the world Hong Kong was synonymous with manufacturing – the words “Made in Hong Kong” appeared on countless products, from plastic flowers to clothes and many more things.
If you are in the departure area at Hong Kong airport, a simple exhibition provides some more background on this. Several display cabinets tell the story of Hong Kong manufacturing in a specific sector, along with example products from that time.
The exhibition is small but informative. It makes an interesting ten minute diversion and for many will also provide a trip down memory lane. It is located close to gate 31. More details are available on the airport website. The exhibition will run until 31st March 2017.
