Looking for some concerts to go to this coming spring? Take a look at some of the big names that are coming to Hong Kong and Macau. You can purchase tickets at Ticketbis.com.hk.
- Bruno Mars in Hong Kong
Asia World Expo, Mar 29 Sat and 30 Sun 08:00 PM
Bruno Mars is probably one of my favorite singers out there at the moment. Treasure was one of my top three favorite songs in 2013, it’s super catchy and I like the throwback to the Motown vibe of it. And I always feel happy when I hear Marry Me. This should be a super-fun concert.
- Avril Lavigne in Hong Kong
Asia World Expo, Feb 13 Thu 08:00 PM
The original Sk8er Boi is coming to Hong Kong in February. This should be a fun easy going concert, primarily geared towards the teeny-bopper audience. You should be able to hear unpretentious catchy rock and pop songs and have a fun time. Avril has had a bunch of hit songs so this concert will be a blast.
Keep in mind that Asia World Expo is EXTREMELY large and you will be a long distance from the stage if you are sitting in the rear. My suggestion would be to spend the extra money to get closer if you can afford it. Or if you don’t mind a side view. I find the side seats closer to the stage your best bang for the buck.
- Rolling Stones in Macau
Cotai Arena, The Venetian Macau. Sunday, 9 March 2014, 8:00 PM.
A classic rock band you really can’t go wrong with. More for my parent’s generation but regardless I’m sure it’ll be super fun, and a good excuse for a weekend trip to Macau. Cotai Arena is large, but not nearly as long as Asia World Expo, and I think the sound system is probably even better here. So you can afford to sit a little further away from the stage.
Who knows, maybe you can even win big on the blackjack or roulette tables and cover the cost of your show tickets!
