People around Hong Kong have been talking about a giant rubber ducky floating in the waters of Hong Kong. Here’s two pictures my friend Wilson sent.
The duck was created by Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman and will be displayed next to Ocean Terminal in Tsim Tsa Tsui from May 2 to June 9.
In case you were wondering, this duck has been traveling the world to tons of destinations, as seen on this map I found on Twitter.
The visit of the duck coincides with an inflatable art festival in West Kowloon, named Mobile M+: Inflation! There’s a bunch of inflatable sculptures there including a giant cockroach, roast pig, dog poop, and Stonehenge! Looks pretty cool, if you have time you swing by and check it out.
There was also a video on NBC’s Today Show describing the inflatable sculpture event as well.
Mobile M+: INFLATION! runs through June 9, 2013.
