What better way is there to unwind from work or to see another side of London than to head out for a few drinks at night and experience the city’s exciting nightlife? Clubs, DJ bars, comedy, cabaret, music, burlesque, London’s nightlife has it all. If you frequent London’s clubs and pubs, then London Underground Tube has some good news for you.
Starting from 12 September (this Saturday), the Tubes will provide around-the-clock service on Fridays and Saturdays on five major lines: the Jubilee, Victoria, and most of the Central, Northern and Piccadilly lines.
Trains will be running on average every 10 minutes. There will be no services between North Acton and West Ruislip, Loughton and Epping and Woodford and Hainault on the Central line; the Mill Hill East and Bank branches on the Northern line; and Terminal 4 loop and between Action Town and Uxbridge on the Piccadilly line. Standard off-peak fares will apply for travelling.
See this map to see which routes will be running (open in new tab for full size):
As you might notice, the night service covers most of Zone 1 and 2, including major tourist attractions and popular hotels. So free the night and get ready to party!
