Traveling from Hong Kong to Macau is easy. The distance between the two SARs (Special Administrative Regions) is 60 km. With lack of a bridge between the two islands (although coming soon!), travelers are left with two option: ferry or helicopter. Flying is faster but a ferry is more economical.

Immigration officers globally have a mixed reputation. Hong Kong’s are often seen as courteous although as ever personal experiences may vary.
