Nov 6 CX Fanfares are out, lots of available destinations

The newly created Cathay Pacific fanfares are released for the week of November 6th. Two hours after they’ve come out all of the destinations are still available except for Seoul.1

Keep in mind while some of the offers expire in 1 week, a majority of the destinations are actually on sale for only 1 day!

Tons of destinations on the list including:

  • Haikou
  • Kaoshiung
  • Kunming
  • Ho Chih Minh (Saigon)
  • Phnom Penh
  • Tokyo (Haneda)
  • Jeju
  • Phuket
  • Nagoya
  • Okinawa
  • Chicago
  • Moscow
  • Brisbane
  • Amsterdam

I would say the best ones are Tokyo Handeda at $990 and Chicago at $1990, both expiring in 6 days, but expect the seats to be gone by then. If Tokyo is your destination, Haneda is great since it’s must closer to the city and cheaper to get to/from the airport. For the US, you can always buy a cheap domestic flight to wherever you’re going if Chicago isn’t your final destination.

As before, you’ll get 500 Asia Miles for the booking, but no actual mileage flown.

  1. I tried to book but whenever I click on “Book now” they add a grey layer above the site (as if they would load a pop up), but nothing happens. Tried with different browsers, but same problem. Does it work on your site?

    • Hi Sandra,

Works perfectly fine for me. Try turning off your pop-up blockers in all of your web browsers and maybe use a desktop computer if you’re only a mobile phone/tablet.

Click the little circle right of “BOOK NOW”
Popup window comes up with offer details and requesting you to input dates and passengers
Click the circle next to book now again, redirects you to CathayPacific or DragonAir booking site and you can book as any other ticket.

      • Thanks for your reply. Turned off pop-up blocker and did use a desktop computer. Still not working. Will try on another computer instead. Thanks anyway.
