Cathay Pacific fanfares: new weekly sale

Cathay Pacific has rolled out a new fare sale web site called Fanfares.

It says new fanfares start every Tues at 8am. Right now there’s still tickets for Singapore, Dubai, and Melbourne.

Current offers left:

Singapore: 590 HKD
Dubai: 1390 HKD
Melbourne: 1690 HKD

This appears to be a nice move by a traditionally expensive carrier to help fill seats during the low season. While you don’t accrue normal Asia Miles based on trip length, you can get a 500 Asia Mile booking bonus, better than nothing!

Honestly I don’t expect these to last once the economy picks up again, but nice to see for now.

  1. Journeys must begin and end in Hong Kong.
  2. Tickets are valid on Cathay Pacific/Dragonair–operated flights only.
  3. Tickets are valid on flight/date shown and non-refundable.
  4. Fares are inclusive of Hong Kong Security Service Charge, but subject to applicable taxes and other surcharges.
  5. Cathay Pacific/Dragonair and Asia Miles™ terms and conditions apply.
