SriLankan pulling out of Hong Kong

Sri Lankan will be stopping service to Hong Kong when it ends its Colombo to Hong Kong route at the end of October.  It previously ended its Bangkok to Hong Kong service.

This is a shame as the airline offers good service (we reviewed its economy class offering here and here) and it is a good option to have for some Asia Miles awards from Hong Kong, such as the One World Multi-Carrier Award.

The route will continue to see daily direct service on Cathay Pacific.
