This lounge is branded as Cathay Pacific, although it is Cathay Dragon which operates the flights between Penang and Hong Kong, not its sister airline.
The lounge is upstairs, close to gate five. As Penang airport is small, it is a short walk from security and likely from your gate.
The lounge is a decent size for an outport with only twice daily flights. It has a fair amount of seating inside, and also some in an area beside the entrance desk, which has a different atmosphere.
There is some hot food and cold food available, and for an airport of this size a decent range of drinks. On my recent visit the coffee machine was inoperative although the friendly staff were making coffee to order upon request.
There is an area with a couple of computers and printer.
There is a selection of international press and a television with an American news channel on when I was there, which I always find quite disruptive (the noise more than the images).
There are small toilets inside the lounge but no showers.
This is a serviceable lounge in which to pass an hour before waiting for a flight.
