Tokyo Haneda to Fukuoka: JAL Flight Review

First early morning flight from HND to FUK on JL. Arrived at check-in before the desks were even open and terminal lights turned on. Don’t arrive at Haneda before 6AM because everything will be closed. Easy and straightforward check-in and boarding once the staff started work at 6am.

JAL doesn’t serve food on domestic flights so if are hungry, buy some food to eat on board. The flight was fantastic, nothing to complain about because there were probably only 20-30 passengers on the whole Boeing 777. Flight attendants were very attentive and walking around the cabin the whole time, but it was a bit weird since there were almost as many of them as passengers in economy.

Sushi box I bought for breakfast before boarding the plane. Around 700 yen.

Drinks were also limited, but Japan has some great apple juice! So I always drink that in Japan. They served Minute Maid brand, but it tastes much more natural than Minute Maid in the US, which is watered down.

One odd thing was that I wanted to switch seats and they asked me to sit in my assigned seat for weight and balance and then move after the plane was airborne. I only weigh 140 lbs max with my clothes on, so I was a bit concerned about them saying me moving might affect the whole weighting of a 777. 😀
