The Korean Air lounge is located on the public side of the airport, before security. It is almost directly beneath the Korean Air checkin counters – one just needs to go down one flight of stairs. This location means that you need to allow sufficient time to clear passport control and security and get to your gate before departure, after leaving the lounge.

The lounge design is a typical Korean Air lounge design, with lots of medium stain wood and leather effect chairs. It’s basically fine in terms of atmosphere – not amazing, but a pleasant enough place to spend an hour or two.

The drinks selection is a bit narrow but of high quality, including Rémy Martin XO and Ballantine’s 17 year old.

The food selection, on the other hand, is basic bordering on sparse. It is more like a snack option than a proper meal option – there are some instant noodles, various snacks and some sangak-gimbap rice triangles. The staff don’t seem to do a great job keeping the lounge clean or fully stocked.

The lounge has a good range of Korean language newspapers and some Korean language magazines.

There is a small business centre with one desk, although it does not contain any computers so if you want one you would need to bring your own. There are also telephone and fax booths if you want some privacy when making a call or to use a fax machine.
