Memphis, TN and Tunica, MS

On the way from Nashville to Little Rock I stopped by Elvis’ home in Graceland, outside Memphis. It was cool to see even though he was alive before my time. I didn’t do the tour but I was able to snap a few picture outside the wall to his home.

Tunica, Mississippi is also about thirty minutes away from Memphis and not far from Graceland so  decided to try my luck at the casinos there. Unfortunately I didn’t win, so in essence the buffet dinner cost $200. There’s a bunch of small casinos over there where you can park in the main lot and just walk to each. Comps are pretty easy to go though, so that’s a plus!

After Tunica it’s about another 2-2.5 hour drive to Little Rock. You can either take Highway 49 or I-40. I decided to go the I-40 route, there really wasn’t much traffic at all, even though I went during rush hour time. I just figured the interstate would be moving faster so I did that, there was some construction along the way though, which did close down a lane.
