Ice Skating Rinks in HK

For such a hot place, it’s ironic to see HK is home of many ice skating rinks within shopping malls. It’s a nice place to bring the kids, go on a date, or just practice your skating skills. I’ve seen every one of these and they’re all well kept, if not a bit crowded at times.

Elements Ice Skating Rink during the weekday afternoon

Cityplaza Ice Palace
Taikoo MTR Station, Exit E

The original ice skating rink in a mall, smaller than others but still functional.

Festival Walk Glacier
Kowloon Tong MTR

Nice skating rink surrounded by restaurants where people eating will stare at you fall on your butt!

Elements The Rink
Kowloon Station MTR

The newest and largest ice skating rink in HK (purely by eyeballing the size.)

Megabox Mega Ice
Kowloon Bay MTR – Shuttle from MTR to Megabox

They have a hockey league which plays here, fun to see the little ones play hockey in HK. A bit inconvenient though since it’s not directly on the MTR line.
