HKG – LAX $5,990 all-in on China Eastern

China Eastern is offering a nice fare from Hong Kong – Los Angeles for $5,990 including all taxes. (Some return dates might be slightly less.) There is a transit visa Shanghai and no visa is required for many nationalities.

It appears this is valid starting September 5th on the outbound. For the return I saw cheap fares through November, maybe later too.

Unfortuantely I can’t find a page advertising this sale to provide you the exact dates.

Steps

1. Search HKG to LAX on the MU web site

2. Look for dates where the lowest price is $1,300 each way

3. Select the $1,300 (or less) flights in each direction, I saw a fare for $1,230 on the return in November.

4. Upon entering personal details, the $5,990 (or less) total will appear
