Peach Airlines is a new discount airline from Japan. They are starting flights July 2nd and offering promo fares of $888 HKD each way between KIX (Osaka Kansai) and HKG. Note, Kyoto isn’t very far from Osaka, and one of my favorites cities in Japan.

The flight schedule isn’t very convenient, but better than Cebu Pacific’s 4am arrival.
HKG – KIX
00:50am – 05:30am
$1,048 HKD after taxes
KIX – HKG
21:10pm – unknown
$1,149 HKD after taxes
Oddly there’ s no arrival time scheduled KIX to HKG yet, but figure about 11-1130pm. I’ve never flown this airline, but if it’s anything like normal Japanese airlines it shouldn’t be too bad. But beware legroom as in all things Japanese, but it’s not a terribly long flight anyway. Certainly a good fare to Osaka…just watch out for the HKD – JPY rates, yikes!
