Airport Express Group Travel Discount

Update July 1, 2012: as suspected this has been extended, also free rides for children under 11. 

 From 1 July to 2 September 2012, purchase any Airport Express Group Ticket and accompanying children aged 3-11 can enjoy free rides on the Airport Express with a Child Octopus.

 

MTR has been having an ongoing promotion for groups traveling on Airport Express. The current one is scheduled to end June 30th, but I suspect they’ll keep it going. Especially now that the Airport Express is running every TEN fingers, I mean minutes. (Those ads with giant fingers are annoying, but memorable.)

Personally I’d rather just take a cab to the airport if I’m already spending around $200, but if you needed to use the check-in facilities earlier, or are staying at Kowloon or Hong Kong Stations, the Airport Express train might be easier.
